Building on the successes of the 2012 and 2014 Academic and Student Affairs Leaders’ Institutes, which brought together teams from over 100 institutions with 400 educators, the Gardner Institute will host an encore gathering of academic leaders, student affairs leaders, faculty, and colleagues. Participants will explore the benefits, challenges, and strategies in creating and maintaining partnerships that address the interconnected issues of student success, learning, and retention. We invite you to join us at this 2015 Academic and Student Affairs Leaders’ Institute that will be held on January 15 – 16, 2015, at Hilton Orange County Costa Mesa.

The Academic and Student Affairs Leaders’ Institute is being offered immediately following the Symposium on Student Retention. The Symposium on Retention focuses on the development of a comprehensive retention plan whereas the Academic and Student Affairs Leaders’ Institute focuses on the creation of partnerships for institutional student success initiatives. Sessions will be facilitated by staff members of the Gardner Institute who are nationally known scholars and expert practitioners of student success: John N. Gardner, Betsy O. Barefoot, Betsy Q. Griffin, and Andrew K. Koch and Sara Stein Koch

Fee: $495 for two or more participants from the same institution (use group registration) or $545 for one institutional participant. Fee includes all meeting materials and meals. Refund Policy: Cancellations on or before December 15th, will have the registration fee refunded minus a $50 administrative fee. A written request for refunds is required. Absolutely no refunds will be issued after December 15. We cannot accept refund requests resulting from cancelled flights and/or “acts of God.”
