Matt Redinger, Phd is a Montana native, born, raised, and educated here: Carroll College (Helena) and the University of Montana (Missoula) before earning his PhD at the University of Washington. His areas of academic specialization are Modern Latin American History and US-Latin American Relations. He served as a full Professor of History from 1993-2012, when he assumed responsibilities as Vice Provost for Academic Affairs at Montana State University Billings. In that capacity, he managed MSUB’s Gateways to Completion initiative from 2015-2018. In 2018, he moved to Great Falls, Montana to assume responsbilities as Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs and Professor of History at the University of Providence.
